MemberWell, just imagine the pronunciation. Add to the mix, the spelling.
If you just glance at it, it seems ok. But further scrutiny, it makes so much nonsense.

MemberWell, that world’s pecullar logic is interesting. I think you would have been stomped by the room with many doors. Have you tried eating the cakes and drinking from the bottles? At least they would do wonder to your physique. You can make yourself bigger than Tom. Oh! And don’t try the mushrooms.
Rosver
MemberI think you do too. Well, at least you thing Rupert looks ridiculous beside Tom.

MemberWow, you meet Popeye. Love that guy when I was a kid. Doesn’t seem to appear on TV now though.
By the way, her name is Olive Oyl.
Amazing that Popeye is stronger than you demon. Well, Popeye did incredible feats after munching some spinach.

MemberYou don’t need a potion. Just need a script or program. It is easy really.
As we are talking about mana. It seems, as the book imply, that plants has mana too. Are plant mana the same as animal mana? Also, is demon mana very much the same as human manas? People can’t seem to tell a demon pretending to be a human from real humans.
Also, could people somehow use plant mana to do magic?

MemberHuh! True names is pretty much nonsense to me. Maybe because I’m human? Hmmm. I’m ranked demon here now.
Rosver
MemberWow! I’m getting an Alice-In-Wonderland experience here.
Rosver
MemberAwwww. You are looking out for us. You have such a big heart.
Rosver
MemberTo a human that doesn’t make a difference. The same caution would apply.
Though, it seems some demons don’t seem do that… unprovoked. Zangofelstan seems to be one of those. You seem to be one too.

MemberTizzy you’re condition seems to favor you if you loose.
As for virgin, try virgin coconut oil. It’s healthy.

MemberYou might got things confused. Usefulness is a different from value. A necklace might have big value both monetary and sentimental but it has very limited usefulness. A knife however is very useful though it is very rare that one would be of great value to someone. Also your example: water is very useful. Cooking, cleaning, bathing, cooling, paper making, dyeing, etc. makes it one of the most useful substance, whether you have a lake or only a canteen of it. Its scarsity or availability doesn’t change its usefulness.
Rosver
MemberIt probably just dessipates.

MemberYou don’t need a sewer system for a toilet to exist. A septic would hold the waste.
Though, a sewer system is very important in a city, if it needs to keep sanitary. Though in a demon city, sanitary issues from lack of working sewer might not be a problem.

MemberMaybe you can’t get their true names in the first place? There has to be a special and specific situation so that you will be able to get it?

Member@Maou:
Huh? That is ridiculous! I could list a lot of popular characters that are far from realistic. James Bond, Twilight saga characters, Super Man, Batman, Joker, Spongebob Squarepants, Bugs Bunny, Hercules, Mad Hatter… They are more than just distorted.
The fact is, when it comes to fiction, realism almost always takes a back seat. The more important one is appeal. If you make a fiction that is as realistic as possible, readers would be bored to death. So fiction often exagerates, the characters personality, often to the point of unreality, to maximize the characters appeal and make them interesting. Especially so to the protagonist and antagonist.
Its still fiction, but we like their to be some truths in the new imagined world so that we might relate with the setting in characters. If you can’t relate to them the story fails to reach you and is not doing a good job.
The fact is writers can’t actually create a trully original thing. They always drew material from what already existed. So one way or another, the characters has some bearing to reality.
Also, not everyone could relate to a story. James Bond has garnered a lot of admirers, but I hate him. To me all his movies is junk! Did it failed somehow? Or how about Spongebob Squarepants? A lot of children love him, but adults? Not so much. Did it succeed?
Also, like reality, there are just people you don’t like and relate with. It might be your sibling, the president, your teacher, ect. It doesn’t mean that because these characters are real means that you would relate with them or their life stories would make a good story.
In fact, as far as I can see, the most induring characters are far from human in almost anything. Here are some: Demons, Dragons, Elves, Dwarves, Godzilla, King Kong, Angels, Gods, Ghosts, Zombies… well it just such a long list.
