Darkness is cool, I thought gelatin liked to stay cool?

So Darkness should be your friend? Maybe it’s just me but I only meet gelatinous cubes in deep dark dungeons…

Seems to me that a Shadow demon would be great for a gelatinous cube that wanted to move to a different dungeon.

Although, given your speed, it would probably need to be a very powerful shadow to keep you dark and cool all day, and the next, and next, and next, and…

I also don’t see a lot of gelatinous cubes in theAbyss. Which is one reason I think they like coolness (not cold like on the mountain tops where their is liquid nitrogen snow)

Now, I’m not saying there aren’t any D’Jellos, but…I just haven’t yet met any.

I assume a D’Jello’s hooves, horns and wings would also be made of gelatin, so it could be interesting (and very messy) to watch them flap their wings as they fly.

Since they would regenerate any wing jello that flew off would come back pretty quick…so really very messy.

    Sounds good.

As the beta’s draw near (within a week or two of them) T-A-G will harvest all the names oe people who’ve posted in the appropriate forums for each book and email them and let them know.

There will also be an announcement in the forums, and in all cases a magical link, that when clicked will bestow Beta Demon powers on the clicker, allowing them to see certain alternate timelines, realities and possible futures.

All good, T-A-G will send out emails announcing it to people who have posted here (or in other new book forums)

There you go, you got me doing it, yet again!

And now you’ve got me doing it, repeating myself, that is.

But on the other hand, I can’t think of anyone I want to repeat more than myself, so this is a good thing.

    Hey!

I am back! Been off in the wilds with Rede and just got back and still catching up!

Yes, Singkun has mentioned the 4 dragon kings, many times…

Interestingly enough he made a bet with one, can’t remember which now, and won! As his reward he got to ride on the dragon king’s back! So interesting coincidence there. Of course, it so angered the DK that he has been sending assassin’s to try to kill Singkun for the last thousand or so years.

To be fair, I don’t blame the DK. I mean, who wants a monkey on their back? Pretty sure that’s even a saying or something, somewhere or when.

Of course, and this is something I don’t share with just anyone, the eastern dragons, like the DK’s that you are discussing would/could be considered D’Ragons since D’Ragons are immortal energy based beings, like Demons and D’Orks and D’Arachnids and such. If they happen to have a god pool on the outer planes then they are also a god. I guess. Personally, in my mind, gods are just narcissistic egomaniacs who crave adoration and happen to be powerful enough to force people to worship and adore them.

[quote=Gelcube;7528]Sometimes I can’t, but my reading goes through phases, and right now I’m into light stories that make me laugh. A story who’s main character gets reincarnated as a vending machine? That gets a laugh. 🙂

    A vending machine?

OK, that’s it. If I hear one more bitchy demon newbie whining about being enslaved as a demon, I’m going to slap them silly! They could have ended up as a vending machine! Surely being a demon is better than being a vending machine?

I have been off with my project/protoge’/victim Rede.

The problem is I’ve been busy with Rede and others, and moving things along in the story, but T-A-G is being really slow about recording events.

    He’s super incredibly lazy.

Well, depends on how you create your undead–for example “Evil Dead” as in Ash VS/Army of Darkness etc undead are clearly demonic, even when they’re dead.

However, I am reasonably certain the Walking Dead or more traditional science based Unlife.

So not sure they are technically demonic MC’s.

However, they are clearly correlated to the forum as undead slaying is a favorite pastime of many D’Orcs. Particularly the Visterothi….

You had a couple sitting out there with similar display names but different username. I authorized this one, which is username manfromalamo.

    I am concerned about T-A-G’s pro-GRRM commentary….

I am going to keep poking him however!!

That’s what pitchforks are for; and surprisingly that’s one of the few manufacturing jobs in the Abyss Working on a pitchfork assembly line…I hear it’s really tricky because the metal fork base is round and all the pitch fork handles/poles are square…

Those peons are very annoying, they definitely distract T-A-G.

    Worst ghost writer ever!

I need him to keep putting out books, so I get my cut as the real author!

I like to vacation now and then!

So I need moolah for visiting Earth.

In particular, I like that nyc place, has lots of dark alleys for me to hang out in, wearing my trenchcoat.

I meet some of the most interesting custo…err…people there….

Hmm, that is a feasible plan, not sure he’s smart enough to come up with it though.

Fortunately, I made copies of his house keys so can just crash at his place when I’m in his town, and won’t need a hotel room.

So, my hope is that by pointing this out, as my principle alternative when visiting his Earth, he’ll realize that maybe NYC isn’t such a bad place for me to visit, and he’ll finish another book to get me my royalties so I can afford a nice hotel room.

You are not in any danger of running out of time….

T-A-G is being horribly lazy, claiming he wants to “eat food” for some reason, so he is wasting way too much time on some sort of “day job” rather than writing 24x7x365 like he should!
