As for us dragons when we get bored we take a nap for a century or so than wake up to the world completely changed, so that usually keeps things interesting.
Finally movie about a superior species, just hope it doesn’t turn out like eragon that was a great book but horrible movie, it made all us dragons look bad

It was probably from all the books he was reading, Maelin did give him a bunch of books to read when they were in freehold, and he also sends a lot of time in the library at doom.
You could also have him wearing some kind of mask hiding his identity, then have a situation similar to tal gors and have everyone freak out about him thinking he’s some overly powerful warlock, more so having him in a similar situation as tom with him trying to keep a double life and stressing out over everyone thinking he’s more powerful and skilled than he really is
Another idea for a Doom-Buster could be undead giants. Just picture it twenty or so ghoul/giants that were sealed away and than released stomping, crushing and devouring everything in there wake.
And since they were sealed away for so long there basically mad with hunger and can’t be fully controlled, so are released as a last result.

Truthfully the wedding scene is not that big a shock for me, we’ve already confirmed that eric is orcus mother and know that she married the five siblings father, so tiernon and orcus being step siblings is obvious, I actually like the scene including the part when we find out that orcus had a son that looked like the human version of Rupert. I think that for now you should leave things as it is until you have more done so we can see were your trying to go with it so we can judge better.
Just finished read the new stuff going to go over again tomorrow but liking what I’ve read especially the whole wedding scene.
