Yes for the beginning. Really cleared it up.

Zargvarst looked around at the others within the room. “All should do well to remember, that at least one half of everything an alfar says is found in what they did not say. Their purposeful omissions speak as loudly, and often more loudly, than their actual words.
“Enchantress, go back to Prince Arial and tell him who he is dealing with; so that he may know the truth of what I shall tell you.”

This is probably the thing I noticed. Just quotation mistakes for when he ends or starts talking. Not sure if the bolded part is because you forgot to add one in the sentence before or accidentally added one after.

“Yet, fear not, there shall be some creative respites. When not peeling their live flesh, we shall eviscerate and disembowel them, and force feed their living organs and bowels to their compatriots.” Zargvarst grinned menacingly.
“Tell Prince Arial that these are but the least of the torments they shall endure for all eternity if he does not remove every single alfar, and every alvaran ally, stooge, henchmen and other being from our territory.” Zargvarst finished.
The room went silent.

Maybe add something in th middle, like “the tension somehow intensifies even more so in trevin’s back.” Lol ;).

Lastly the point in my earlier post, no one on The Nimbus talks about The queen of the abyss sent an army of demons to attack and lose against a demon prince. And that army switching sides.

Maybe for speeding it up you could make them part of the “advance party” that went against orders to only do recon but Vladimir or who ever the leader was to “want a snack.”

Hmm so maybe cut some of Rede’s dialogue (also including Hilda and company talking about it) while keeping in the big bomb aka who his father is.

Conversation between trevin and Zargvarst and he talks to without stopping. On page 319.

“. . . He never has never prevailed over me” Zargvarst said with fierce pride.

“I know him and his sister quite well. If they have agreed to remove their sky patrol around jotunnhenj, that means there are troops elsewhere in our realm that he is not withdrawing. If he were to say, he was removing all sky patrol from our realm, that would mean he was leaving ground troops, or other forces that he can conveniently claim are not ‘sky patrol.'” Zargvarst said sternly.

“I understand his treacherous tricks all too well to be fooled.” Zargvarst stated.”

Kinda sounds like he is talking to himself with the “fierce pride” “Said sternly” “stated.” Kinda like a run on sentence but with him talking to himself.

So the ending quote from zargvarst is him repeating what Tom said, after the battle with liliths soldiers, about leaders having a bond with their soldiers. But it seems to not be mentioned again. I mean saying that the queen of demons sent a demon army to attack another demon prince would be something they would mention in the next bit. Especially with the army switching sides.

If you’re trying to make Gastope seem suspicious in Maelen and Trevins minds it could be another good “slip” where Gastope having more info then he really should.

I meant when Tom the demon goes “flame.” When he was fighting the pirate he changed into demon form while in flame being what Maelen called an “avatar of living flame.” When fighting Talarius, Tom “flashes to flame” his body/ parts, don’t remember which, to heal from sword cuts. Then to try something different he flew up a bit then flashed to completely to flame and did what he learned from the “pirate” fight aka flashing his fire blue electric or cold or whatever it was. This whole thing was recorded on the Balling and Maelen watched it.

What I meant was did Maelen recognize Tom in both his “avatar of living flame” and Tom when he became “living flame.”

I am now going to download the alpha 3 to read tomorrow.

Both could make sense, but this having various mythologies shoved together, with demons and their own mythos, it might make sense for it to actually be the demon father to be holding it together, but sense he’s absent no one knows or cares, therefore Lilith and Sam can claim what ever they want as current “rulers” of the abyss.

Huh do saints have the multiversal translation that demons have? I’d assume no, because it’s built in for demons not saints. archons and other not former living beings might have it though.

Yeah and it’s a warning to certain gods to pay the 4000 year old bills. That also gives Tom and the other wardens time to practice putting a prisoner back. And more opportunities for Tom to have Orcus memories of other prisoners and giving him more ideas maybe? Making him more suspicious of the AII giving him memories!¡! Of course this could be me speculating about fictional things that never happen. So uhh yup.

Huh if you Google “roman god of the underworld” Pluto’s name pops up. And it says he was originally the physical god of the underworld see: wealth gold etc. And that essentially became the spiritual god as well through association. Being hades, the Greek god of the underworlds, roman counterpart.

Orcus on the other hand had no cult in the main cities and therefore survived after the other cults died out. And because he was associated with punishing evil doers his name was used for demons and other underworld monsters. Particularly the Orco a Italian fairy tail that were evil monsters who ate humans. This is apparently Tolkien’s inspiration for orcs. Also orco inspired a fairytale for ogres in France.

So says the mighty Wikipedia. Knowledgeable about all.

That Exador was a arch-demon? Yeah that was in Alpha-2. If we have more Jenn thinking about details it won’t take long at all to See ;).

(Did you get the joke? Because she’s with a seer who knows less then her? Dang these joke things are hard)

Well the story i was talking about originally is lost to the mists of time aka the bloated thing called my bookmark section. So I’ll instead link a online story I just finished reading.

Story link

I also finished this book a few days ago and absolutely loved it so I’ll leave a link as well. Not the best plot ever but still hilarious.
