While I am not a God, nor do I wish to have that particular curse bestowed upon me, it seems to me to be a failing of the major faiths to have it require high level permission to cure a ghoul, vampire, or other such turned Dead. It would seem better to have it at the saint or other lesser servant of a God. That way they could better serve the needs of the people. Perhaps this is something Hilda could petition for within the Etonian Pantheon?
LunarmageMemberSo I have known about his band for a long time, however I recently went back to listening to, and I came across this gem. I hope that Tizzy enjoys.
LunarmageMemberTo be fair, that was to be expected when Tizzy answered. Very rare is the time when Tizz comes out and says something definitively. I mean even his Demon Weed bag is a mystery; until he reveals that his weed bag is a dimensional bag (I so want one of those).
LunarmageMemberGiven how long it has been (figuratively speaking), since Tom was summoned by Lenaare. Is it possible that given all that has happened with Tom, that Lenamare would not be able to command Tom/Orcus to do his bidding? I am wondering if it is like with God (our world), that in order to be able to summon and command him, you would need all his True Names. Tom seems to be gathering True Names, and titles like a magpie gathers shiny items.
LunarmageMemberThis wanna-be demon in training wants in on the beta reads as well. I need all the OJT I can get to grow up to be a good (evil?) demon like Tizzy.
LunarmageMemberThis fan approves!
LunarmageMemberThanks a bunch Tizz. Now if only I can find a way to get an invite to the next Doom Bash…
LunarmageMemberThis is another of those questions I meant to put into my earlier post. I am curious to see how the Orstimothian’s try to extradite a head of state, and God like personage.
LunarmageMemberI dig it, and will be donating.
LunarmageMember
You are excused. Although, acknowledging your age, or lack thereof is agist, and we at Doom try to be non-agist.
Agism is a central conceit of the gods, and we don’t like them. “We’re immensely older than you, so worship us and give us all your mana or we squash you like insects.”
We at Doom are to the gods, what “The Boys” are to Supes in that crazy jungle on your planet. I really can’t understand why anyone would open a store in the middle of a rain forest, you’d think all the moisture would be bad for the boxes of products.
BTW am I the only one a bit concerned that Amon Amarth sounds like the name of a lich? Are we sure they’re on our side?
As I understand it, Amon Amarth is the Sindarin name for Mount Doom, you know, that volcano that, that Necromancer took from you? Though I think that could be held against them just as much.
LunarmageMemberSo, I’ve spend the better part of the last hour trying to get my avatar to work and I can’t seem to make it happen. Is there a way that one of the greater Demons can lend me their centuries of experience?
LunarmageMemberTartarvardenennead (could they come up with a more complicated name?)
Anyway, I don’t think any of the readers are fooled by Tizzy. He is certainly more than just a simple Fiend. I keep getting the feeling that age is one part of a Demons power base. The older a Demon becomes, the more power they can access. Given what everyone in Doom has said, Tizzy has been there for several Arch-Demon arrivals. Arg-nargoloth is something like 20,000 years old and he remembers Tizzy. Both Ramses and Exedor recall meeting him (I couldn’t point to chapter and page number to verify this, but I do seem to remember it being mentioned). If that is the case, Tizzy certainly has the age to be at least a Greater Demon. Though, my hypothesis is the Concordonax.
LunarmageMemberPersonally I was thinking about Amon Amarths Varyags Of Miklagaard. Viking Metal I believe has a good overtone of warrior mentality and harsh vocals to bring out the demon in all of us.
LunarmageMemberI am glad to see that I am not the only one who has had this problem. I also never received a confirmation email. Can this be rectified by the all mighty Doom Stash Supplier?
LunarmageMember
You are not in any danger of running out of time….
T-A-G is being horribly lazy, claiming he wants to “eat food” for some reason, so he is wasting way too much time on some sort of “day job” rather than writing 24x7x365 like he should!
I mean really. How dare that mortal have the audacity of having to partake of food to remain alive to write these exquisite books.
