KorwinMember
Doomed Warlock of Doom
Nah, too cheesy
KorwinMemberPDF, did not look at the epub Version.
KorwinMemberI think this is the hindsight* speaking.
* is that a word?
KorwinMember
“The knight pulled forth a dark blade, tainted by Unlife, and attempted to kill the demon.” Heron said.
This is from Heron retelling the end boss fight from book one, right? So they did much research, talked with the Rod, etc.
They might have gotten that information.KorwinMember
Yes, but while the rod knew it was a dark, albeit holy artifact, the leap to unlife seems like a stretch.
Now that I think about it…
Thinking back to the fight (dont have the book open or at Hand), Talarius might not have know about the Antimus in the Knife.
But he did know what it did, did’nt he?
He stabed Tom, expecting him to be slain permanently…?KorwinMember
Maybe this isn’t a reference to their imprisonment, but some separate battle fierce enough to still be remembered?
In that case, it’s very confusing to the reader…IMHO it should stay, if it’s an foreshadowing, that the secret is not so secret anymore.
If it’s not intendend as foreshadowing it should be cut.KorwinMemberSo foreshadowing. Happy with that.
Did totaly miss the Etonian history mistake :-kKorwinMemberNot an huge problem, but I want to mention it.
“And if they never did this?” Tom wandered aloud.
wondered?KorwinMemberpage 423 pdf
Had he still out there mowing through the Army of the Night?
This sentence is confusing me. Maybe ‘Had he still been out there, mowing…’KorwinMember
We know what color Rupert was, he showed up when Talarius looked at him in his tent.
Yeah, this is an point in favor that Dispater is in deep cover and fooling the mirror.
Or is an newborn phoenix recyled god only at the power level of an greater demon?KorwinMember
Or wait, do you mean fix the title right before Book IV goes live?
Yeah, meant this.
Also maybe an Name Change to book 3
I like to give the name of the next book at the end of the preceding book, it gives people something to look forward to. It is not that critical. I’ve done that in the last two.
Did’nt remember this, so an Name Change does’nt Sound so good anymore.
One thing I am concerned about with a lot of the titles I’d like to use is that I might over use the “of Doom” part
Over use or Branding? (Looks at Dune) o:)KorwinMember
Aww man, that would be a great conversation with Bess about how he made the ultimate dick joke, only for her to find out he helped the slaughter of her people.
I’m not so shure, she doesn’t know…
KorwinMember
That’s the real problem with all of these titles in advance and why they are a bit off, and don’t end up meaning what most people think.
So, why do you fix the names in advance?
Shure begin the name finding/searching, but only fix it right before it goes live.We could use Apostles of Doom for the next book and something other for the third…
Hmm Revelations of Doom? I feel like we get much Information in this one.
KorwinMemberYea Chaos and Law should not mean, to be automatically on different teams.
The Gods of Law are definied as signatory to the Dingsbums accords, right?
And Orcus is not and was not an signatory.Hmm, got confused somewhere. What did I want to write? Oh, yeah.
Chaos should not be automatically evil (same as Demons should not be automatically evil). -
