MemberI would imagine so. That’s why I’m doing my best to protect the pretty young things….endangered species preservation and all.

MemberJUST became conceited?
Why thank you, most people assume I was just born conceited. It’s been a long journey and struggle to get my ego to its current heights!

MemberAh, but what if my “craziness” is just an act?
What if I am completely sane and pretending to be insane and nonsensical to lull everyone into a trap!
No one thinks the crazy guy did it! Crazy guys are always harmless and cuddly, you know like Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger!
Two of the sweetest, most playful people I’ve ever met, and they are also batshit crazy!

MemberI think there really is a lot of prejudice against 3D art.
And it’s for a lot of reasons, but a lot because really good 3D is super over used in tv and movies (special effects not the glasses type 3D), so people become to blase. And also there is the uncanny valley effect where if things you know are fake look too real, it turns people off.
A similar thing is seen with high def TV and 3D TV/Movies (glasses) hyper realism can turn people off very quick.
Plus there is some bias in that people don’t really know how much effort goes into any particular piece of art. In many cases traditional paint/sketch (non computer) art can be much much faster to do than 2D or 3D computer art. But it is almost always seen as “better” or “real art”

MemberLooking good!
General form is pretty accurate, just some details like his very large hands and long claws…and his rear tail, the front tail looks about right.
🙂
Horns are good in proportion to head, but head seems a bit small compared to body (so then horns would scale)
But otherwise I’m very impressed. What tool are you using to model?
Tizzy
MemberIndeed it does…where do you think most of those crazy multi-limbed deities the Indians have came from (their gurus were out exploring higher planes)…they even claim that…
Given that I’ve got 4 arms and 4 legs, I should see about setting up shop in India. I’d like to be worshiped as a god. If enough people did, I might even become one….

MemberI’m not making fun of a religion, I’m talking about joining it as one of their gods!
I’m certainly not going to make fun of an organization I’m trying to join.
Tizzy
MemberExactly…
Although on a decoration front…I note that his tail is not just for decoration…maybe his tongue is a weapon as well.
I know that the tongues of Incubae and Succubae are not just for decoration.

Tizzy
MemberYep. But aren’t all books simply a method of sharing and advancing a plot?
Tizzy
MemberExcept maybe for phone books…they have great casts, lots of characters, but not a lot of plot….

MemberYou mean like the Holy Grail, it doesn’t actually do much except send knights on quests, starts wars, sacks cities, etc.
Seems like a really powerful Artifact of Evil if you ask me. Remind me not to drink from it, even though it was filled with blood at one point, so would otherwise be tasty.
I don’t remember the movie you speak of, I don’t get to see too many movies, I don’t get to Earth very often.
However, I was on the one plane of existence ran by robots, who needed my assistance in ridding themselves of these human vermin, so I helped them program these time traveling killer robots that coincidentally, they called Terminators.
Tizzy
MemberThat would give new applications for probiotics…
The various sights can actually reveal a great deal of things, if you know how to interpret an aura.
It also depends on exactly which sight you use (different sights can see some different things).
But in general most sights can see:
1) heat
2) some indication of animus level/usage
3) some indication of mana level/usage (mana wielding types)
4) strong emotions (rage, love, depression in large quantities)
5) enhanced spectrum (see heat above) and low light conditions
6) sometimes religious affiliation depending on the type of sight and individual (e.g. clerics can often determine religious affiliation, if they are familiar with the person’s relgion)
7) mana/animus binding/level/format (again this is interpretation) so “elf”/”demon”/”spirit”/”human”A lot of it really is based on ones skill at interpreting the aura, Seers, like Maelen can figure out a lot more about a persons aura than your average demon can, I’m not sure though how much of this is the type of sight as it is the training/experience the person has in interpreting the aura.
Tizzy
MemberTrue…and by the way…you seem to have turned me into a Greater Demon!
Thanks!
I’m going to go see if I can rend some more powerful wizards now…

MemberHmmm
That image of Tom falling into the pit for the last countdown sale is the best image of him as a human. Edwyrd looks similar, check out the who’s who section for some photos.
Jenn is on the cover of the book and shows up in some photos on the site on various pages as does Gastrope’. Rupert is also on the cover, but his back is to us…
I will look around the site and add more links to the images. Maelen shows up a lot of places with a staff and looking like a jedi master as does Lenamare and Jehenna. Elrose is the guy with the dreadlocks, Hortwell is the bald skinny guy, Trisfelt is the guy that looks like Friar Tuck.
The best banner of a lot of people is at http://drawcrowd.com/quarkmaster
the guy in the purple armor is exador. The blond woman in white is Hilda who you haven’t met yet.
