Are you now saying that gender is a choice?

    :-”

But, yes, I suppose Demogorgon could.

I can’t, of course, being but a simple fiend, but powerful demons can.

o:) That is so nice of you!

Although there are a few deities out there who beg to differ. They keep referring to me as that octopal simpleton! [cursing]

Had not thought about that. It would be a logical explanation…perhaps the sneering tone they delivered those remarks was indicative of their pride, i.e. because things were not so simple for them, they had to pretend disdain for someone who was more capable of them?

Will have to think about this.

    🙂 Very logical gifts!

As to Salvatore’? I have met him before. However, he’s much uglier now than he normally is, he is frighteningly lacking in appendages, if you ask me.

Seriously? How do people get by with only two arms? There are days when I’m forced to use one of my feet to scratch my belly because my four hands are full!

    I like that theory!

Alternatively, maybe i ate the Concordenax and am having indigestion?

I am sure it will pass, eventually, but it will take some time. The Concordenax has a LOT of fiber…I mean an awful lot of fiber…

As I am sure you can imagine, I have to put up with a lot of crazy people around me down there in the Abyss.

There are points in time where I just want to relax and watch something entertaining, yet soothing, relaxing and very very structured.

Structure helps me focus and calms me from the craziness of the worlds.

So when I first learned about Television Procedural Dramas–dramas/mysteries that follow very fixed story lines, logical, step by step, one after the other dramas that follow a set, rational, well understood order. You have mystery and uncertainty only in very select circumstances, but all comes down to one of a very select set of predesignated outcomes that are logically consistent with the events at hand.

    Relaxing, comforting, yes?

So I tried these but the ones I tried…Law & Order: *, CSI: *, NCIS: * all were hugely disappointing with no coherent plots what-so-ever. Confusing, incoherent, unrelated sequences of events that had no correlation with each other.

Needless to say, I gave up on the genre.

However, today was “Prime Day” at Amazon, which as you may know, is on a plane adjacent to the Abyss. Anyway, T-A-G for once did something right. He got me the Televised version of a series of books he read, I guess, seconds ago in my time, years in his….called “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency”

I have to say, I FINALLY get procedurals, a show that is logical with an obvious, rational, well thought out connections between scenes, each episode flows with clockwork logic and precision from event to obvious next event. Amazing!

Finally, a logically, self-consistent procedural that one can take comfort in its familiarity and rational logic!

I highly recommend it.[thumbup] [thumbup] [thumbup] [thumbup]

If I see one of those Abilify depression clouds sneaking up on me, I’m go to punch it real hard in its fluffy gray face!

Depression was definitely something he seemed to have when I first met him, that’s actually common for newly minted demons.

Although Reggie doesn’t seem to be having any issues on that part.

But now that he’s past that.

He’s been identified by all the enemies of Orcus as the heir of Orcus, maybe even Orcus reborn and all of Orcus’s demonic, titanic and divine enemies are about to be out gunning for him,

He’s already got Oorstemoth hunting him down, Lilith has tried to kill him once and will again.

Tiernon and the Five Siblings are scheming rather fearfully what to do about him.

Finally, he is also the focal point of all the hopes, dreams and aspirations of all the D’Orcs and the orc people riding on him, all while fearing failure and be revealed as a fake…

What could he possibly be depressed about?

    Not seeing it. Nope. :-({|=

Well, the one thing Inethya has going for her is that he’s already been intimate with her mana stream.

It’s been a few decades since he told me the story, but that was exactly a problem an acquaintance of mine, oddly, also named Tom–he went by Thomas–encountered after he traveled to a magical land. His libido had been rather depressed by both his anger and resentment at being a leper and by the leprosy, when he got to a place where his leprosy could be and was healed, his emotions were running very strong and he sort of–uhm–lost control and raped someone. He felt pretty miserable about it.

Yep. They certainly could come back. A lot of them left though, because he’d hoovered up so much of the mana on the planet, they were having trouble raising enough to justify the investment. There are still some places though that they could use as a breach head. But it would take a lot of work.
