The Cord in the Ax thingy-guy-demon daddy. If he was a physical manifestation of the Abyss, it’s very unlikely he could be eaten, and his power absorbed. As a Cube, that scenario is unacceptable. Every being has the right to be eaten and absorbed by me!

I wish Satan or Santa or whoever had brought ME a cerebus for Christmas when I was a young cube-ling!

I think two of the things I’m most looking forward to are:
    1. What happens when the Inferno comes back to Mt. Doom with Tom there and the new vamps onboard.
    2. Tom finally maybe possibly getting a love interest that makes some progress!

Don’t worry, Tizzy, we know you’re not the Cord and Ax. I mean, who’d want to be the Car Jack anyway? Having to do all that evil overlording, demon-fathering, and angel-eating? Too much hassle. Much easier to smoke and eat cookies!

During the day though, his human metabolism is through the roof. Though no where near as bad as another character from a series called The Demon Accords.
He’s a God touched Exorcist (God as in the one-and-only big guy up stairs) who gets infected with a vampire virus but doesn’t turn then gets dosed with a shot of demon blood. Not good. Well, at first. It just ends up turning him into more of a bad ass.
The need to eat though. If he doesn’t and he’s in a fight, burning calories, he starts to waste away in front of their eyes. One of his weaknesses he has to overcome. When he eats, he gets a lot of strange looks. (This series is also on the list with 15 book so far)

I’ve read that series. I believe that’s the Demiurge.

is the Demi-Urge, or do you mean the Exorcist D’Vampire?

It’s really not that hard to tell if someone is the Demi-Urge, at least if you run into him in person. He generally always looks the same.

Old white human male, with a seriously disproportionately large head (go figure), with even bigger “bushy” hair and beard that appear to be perpetually on fire.

In fact, on first sight, many people confuse him for a burning bush.

That’s him! I remembered someone mentioning him in one of the books. He’s real big on a lot of the low-mana Earths.

    And…Exorcist…D’Vampire?

Meh, I’d prioritize other Dooms before Earth. It’s not going anywhere, and really wouldn’t offer much, since the mana’s so thin there. It’d take so much to repair and replace, the ROI would be centuries, if not millennia. Better to open other Dooms that would have much faster returns.

I doubt the beta demons are worried about themselves. They’ve probably got pets or playthings they’re worried about killing too soon. Right?

Just finished listening to Book 3. There was so much I had forgotten since I read it last. It just got me more excited for new books!

Well, to be fair, Tizzy, having all your demony-ness hovering over one can be quite disconcerting to mortals, you know. It’s your Aura of Awesomeness™.

WWLD. That is both creepy, scary, and hilarious. Also, I can’t count.

It would be nice to have Animus, but to be honest, it would just be a curiosity. I have no time to play, nor a group to play with, so it’d just be me giving you more money. Not a bad thing, mind you.
