So we know that before Orcus died that the Citadel and the Isle of doom worked allot together. So what if after the battle as a show of good faith the commander of the Citadel of light (sorry can’t remember his name) asks if Tom would like to start up the old relationship between the Isle of doom and Citadel with duel training and working together to push the rest of the unlife out. This is where he could bring up Vaselle into the conversation and have him come to Nisgaurd for maybe some duel training with the Citadel and help reestablish relations with them. And where they Vaselle could get bumped into and then have that talk.

So a quick write up because I am at work and should be doing Adult things.

The added content is GREAT! It ends kind of abruptly but I am guessing that is because the next thing that happens is going to be HUGE and that is where you are wanting the next book to start. (next part being the 5 siblings show up).

Quick things that kind bother me. Is with the mirror I like how you have it mentioned that this is going to just raise more questions than give answers. But how could it never be mentioned that he has a Son and that oh Rupert who looks like him is because he could be his Grandpa. . . . But none of those guys mention this to Tom who they all know is having a hard time with all of this with everything else piled on top. . .
But beyond that I loved the exchange between everyone at the Citadel of light I think it went as much as I wanted and expected you to take it. Really looking forward to the next book and the ending of the battle and what becomes of everyone with the very big decisions they are going to have to make.

I was thinking on this and I would believe that after the defeat the remaining D’Orcs got well depressed and lost them selves. And we have been told several times that beings that live longer perceive time different.
So I am thinking this depression lasted long enough that the current shamans they had links with were no longer alive and at that time there numbers had started to dwindle cause of Lilith and her relentless attacks. That they decided keeping what they could to guard tartarus was more important.

First of Bravo on keeping all these things going on in the book Moving. There is so much going on its kind of crazy.

For me on the Tom situation with maybe being the reincarnation is that you did a really good job of showing him having a hard time with all this evidence that he may in fact be Orcus. What kind of stuck out to me was during this time all his advisors and epically Hephaestus when they are sitting down having that long talk about the phoenix cycle is no one has set him down and said, “look I get it you don’t believe your Orcus, but if you were the reincarnation and you didn’t know would that really be such a bad thing.”

Cause it really seems to be bothering him and with all of these long lived beings I kind of would aspect more counseling from them to help him with all this mess.

Also on a side note (I haven’t check the other forum topics yet). We really haven’t seen to much of Rupert or any new progress in the Rupert/Tom situation.

So I thought this might be funny / awkward for Tom. We know Orc’s never had a huge interest or involvement in the Grove. Because its well known that Orc’s hate diplomats/ lawyer types.
But we also know that Orcus was very intelligent and had his hands in allot of places no one really knew about.
So what if Orcus went to the grove allot but in his human form or another form? This would seem like something he might do to keep tabs on things and also to get away from the usual stuff.
Maybe Orcus or even his son had some chance dealings with them that no one really knows about. maybe even a very old yet still likes to flaunt her stuff Enchantress?

Not sure if this is the intention or not but from what I read Gods /Orcus really are the same thing. As in like you stated Orcus wanted to level the playing field so he create mount doom which gave him a “god pool” he then was able to create avatars like the gods do.

Also I am really looking forward to what Tizzy’s true role in this whole game is. Cause I have a feeling he is either A) way more powerful and is just pretending to be this lower demon who has a great seat in all the action. or B) is the follower of the first Demon prince is what I believe you called him whos true name would be in the book that Jen has.

As for a time extender for the Nysgard fight. I would think you could have some of it being now that they know they are building up that the citadel of light in Nysgard plans to try maybe so old lync they had with the base of mount doom in Nysgard to see if they can get any help. This might lead into some very interesting talks cause Hilda’s parties true mission is to only bring back Talarius and not really get involved.

So they way I would see this playing out is first a scene with Talarius back training with Tom’s people and him a Ruiden having mental conversation about the good times Talarius had training with others and some of the conversations maybe leading him into realizing these people are good people and that really Orcus/Tom is allot better person. Maybe Ruiden suggest that he go ask Tom for a position there in Nysgard to help train the people.

This would start putting Talarius on the path of becoming someone who wants to stick with Toms cause he can do some really good work and save lives while keeping to the true faith of Tiernon. So Tom agrees.

Now they get the call from the citadel of light asking for aid and agree to talks when Hilda’s party shows up with them and there becomes now the conflict and might give you some more time for those forces to build up before the last battle.

My thoughts if this happens is that Hilda and here party makes the demand that Talarius must be returned and Talarius is the one who refuses saying he has work to do here in Nysgard forcing Hilda’s group to stay and fight the Chaos so that they can figure out this whole mess afterwords.

But then like mentioned afterwords they are celibrating the victory and maybe Hilda’s party is there with them and now realizing maybe Tom/Orcus is not the Evil he has been made out to be when Ruperts party gets attacked.
