I just completed the book, been busy with work and whatnot. But I like the references to other notable works like the inferno. I basically enjoy almost all of the subplots, well I think Jenn and Gas could use some touch up…what I mean to say is…teenage romance is so dam complicated.
The only real problem I had with the book was the demon general in the end talking about honour, I mean living in the abyss is suppose to warp your sense of self isn’t it?
JonnyboiMemberI wish to be a beta demon, Jonny boi
JonnyboiMemberDon’t think that’s going to be a problem. Since this is the abyss, no one actually bothers with things unrelated to them.

Yes, much will be happening with the skyfleet/Rod over the next few books. In book ii, we have a lot of regrouping to deal with the new situation and positioning and alliances involving them and freehold…the problem is, as you point out, the target of their ire has fled the scene and seriously annoyed the Rod and in particular the other Knights Rampant who arrive late and are totally smoked about their missing “brother knight” who they are sworn to defend, one for all, all for one sort of thing.
@JMX:
T-A-G really had hoped for sooner, but editor and artist have their timelines that aren’t as fast. However, T-A-G say he can use that time to improve the book. Things start to get complicated in terms of the number of involved parties and which side they are on in book ii, so getting it right is important.
Does Lenamare, as Tom’s summoner, bear partial responsibility for Tom’s actions?
What I mean to ask is: Would the counsel put some heat on Lenamare for being Tom’s summoner/ Accursed Master.JonnyboiMemberGrant Me, Jonnyboi, beta demonship. If you do, I swear upon my true name that I will spread the glory of Tizzy all over the southern states of AMERICA!!!!

Then sparkly vampires and cuddly werewolves made money so now all these romances with cuddly creatures of the night. I’m sorry, but I do think it says something about how they are raising their children. A girl encounters a blood soaked fanged monster chowing down on a neighbor and she falls helplessly in love with him and they run off together to make half human half vampire babies?
Seriously? In my day you avoided people with vans and candy, seems like at some point parents could warn their kids about blood sucking fiends!
That being said, I’ve met a lot of fun party loving vampires, liches and other creatures of the night. I wouldn’t want my daughter (if I had one) dating them, but they are pretty fun to party with. But that may be because I am a demon and love mayhem and mass murder. As I’ve said before, nothing beats a nice fresh Baby Buffet for Breakfast….

What can I say Tizzy, guess that nowadays teenage girls are turned on by dangerous decaying and dead people.
I mean not everyone can say they have sex with dead people.JonnyboiMember
I know you’ve gotten this alot but now that were getting closer to spring do you perhaps have a firmer idea as to when you may release book 2 ?

Welcome to the club, don’t worry though since Tizzy is no doubt enjoying the suffering of the fans. I bet it’s his favorite past time, watching us scream and moan about the release, knowing full well he has all the answers. So close yet so far.

Welcome to the club, and don’t worry since Tizzy is enjoying our suffering. Sometimes I think he relishes in the secret desires of the book fans to scream and moan about the release date.
JonnyboiMember
I’m afraid the Oorstemothian’s aren’t going away…
They’re not only back, but escalating their craziness to heights that any rational person would consider insane.
T-A-G will comb through the forums and add beta list volunteers first from here.
Perhaps the romance writers have so many typos because they are writing in the throws of their own personal passion.
Oh my gawd. They aren’t going to make a whole new chapter, added onto an existing article, to the constitution about demon slaying are they?
Oh and ugh tizzy, I got my brother to sign onto the site, told him to write it in blood…what say you give me some of my soul back for that?
JonnyboiMemberIf we consider the contents of your “Beliefs” tizzy then I’m sure the author can’t go wrong, since I don’t think we even know what it is that you consider wrong…or right for that matter.
JonnyboiMemberIt’s probably because the more you go through the motions, The less you’re thinking about your own enjoyment, which leads to lesser enjoyment to trickle down to the readers.
I find that an author that wants to make his book an outlet for his own inspirations and/or sorrows somehow makes it feel more “real” to me.
JonnyboiMemberHalleluah! thx author man just knowing a outline is good enough for me.
JonnyboiMemberDefine “saving” since it seems that mortals and demons have a radical way of looking at things and well I wouldn’t want to have a misunderstanding considering our varying stages of insanity.
JonnyboiMemberThe humans probably thought that since demons are all liars, schemers, and backstabbers that it would be fitting to relate their words to one of a snake. But Tizzy is an exception since it’s not a matter of knowing if he’s lying but a matter of interpretation.
