Yeah, I think it would have to more be about the amount of power said demon has than just his true name. Think about it, technically couldn’t the council get together, summon and bind Exador, and then shove him into a stasis trap since they know his name? Even so I doubt they would with the danger involved. And for that matter, couldn’t saints technically be summoned and bound too? Or does their access to their god’s pool make that much more difficult?
Christopher CopeMemberForget Tommus, he’s only been around 3 months, and just starting a new job. Surely he can be given some slack if he wants to focus on his career for awhile. Plus, dating for a single parent is always complicated.
Christopher CopeMemberBack in the old days, they called it being a confirmed bachelor. As for now, take a look at Japan. A large number of the millennials aren’t having sex, and don’t care.

Christopher CopeMemberTizzy is the living embodiment of a type of uncertainty principle. You can’t know where he is and what the hell he’s saying at the same time. When he’s right in front of you, he’s gonna say something incomprehensible, convoluted, or just plain crazy, which is annoying. When he does say something that makes sense, you have no idea where he is, so you can’t hear it, which is also annoying.

Christopher CopeMemberDoom’s Day? Nice play on words. But with the foreshadowed assault by Nysegaard, I was expecting more “Necropolis Now” Maybe Talarius can go way off the reservation and become the new Colonel Kurtz.
Christopher CopeMemberHmmm, humor you say?
Unconventional Heroes – L.G. Estrella – basically a fantasy version of the Addams Family
Waldo Rabbit – Nelson Chereta
Orconomics – J. Zachary Pike – D’Orconomics would be the Mt. Doom version.
Dark Lord’s Handbook – Paul Dale – Of course Evil would provide a cheat sheet.Christopher CopeMemberI thought it funny when I read a 2 star review of one litRPG book that boiled down to “Too much story, not enough game mechanics”
Christopher CopeMemberI was specifically thinking purely of MC’s like the “Blue Exorcist” anime, as that’s much more rare. There are a number of things with demonic supporting characters. I know there’s a whole slate of urban fantasy novels concerning demon/angel wars. Or something more post apocalyptic, like the former TV show “Dominion”.
Christopher CopeMemberOkay, so what shows and books do you know that have demons as main characters? And BTW, I am NOT going to include all the “My Demon Lover” type books, of which there are too many to count.
These are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head
Books
The Devil is a Part-Timer, Japanese Light Novel.TV
Lucifer
Your Pretty Face is Going to HellChristopher CopeMemberFor a litRPG series that isn’t litRPG, I’d check out

It’s a fantasy story, but the world setup is like an MMO: classes, guilds, raiding gods planes for loot, etc., there are just never any numerical breakdowns. It’s definitely a grimdark story, and once you get past the first book, has some of the most compelling characters I’ve ever read.
Also, a new dungeonMC book is

A bit different from the Slime Dungeon type for again there is no leveling or ability gain breakdown, and the dungeon is already several thousand years old when the book starts.
Christopher CopeMemberI read it. It started out pretty interestingly, since the main character couldn’t communicate, but then the jelly suddenly learns how to speak! Became kind of a standard coming of age story after that, with just an unusual MC. Book 2 looks to be a standard going to mage school type thing. Will there be romance in the future? God I hope not, as it will be completely derivative at that point.
Christopher CopeMemberYou know the expression, “I wouldn’t sleep with you in a million years!”? Considering Orcus and Lilith have been around far longer, I’m sure they’ve hooked up at one point or another. If for no other reason than just to shake things up for a century, or millennia. I have a hard time believing there isn’t someone that Lilith hasn’t slept with over the eons.
As for Tommus hooking up, is there a D’Harmony service he can use?
