Look, Olympian gods sometimes make for strange bedfellows.

Tom is simultaneously a virgin and the baddest of bad boys (albeit with a heart of gold) and Danu might just find she has a thing for BDC (Big demon…)

Nét may be afraid that Danu will ultimately want to land in Tom’s dungeon.

It would give Nét even more reason to hate Tom–finding out that he smashed her elven cakes.

Though he’d probably freeze up if Tom was fighting him sans dragon skin loincloth.

Uhm…excuse me…

you’ve got a list for all the secondary characters in the book.

What about our beloved and respected, if much put upon, protagonist? [confused]

Also you are forgetting the *-nargoloth’s. :-”

Of course, since they’ve already “hooked up” I guess you don’t need to list them.

What about all the grove people? Not just on the nimbus, although them aswell. Trevin, the nymphs and the like. Plus the elders:

Elraith Castegones(druid)
Taergon Thunderhoof(centaur)
Satyricus(satyr)
Daphne and Chloe (nymphs)
Ariel ap Auberon(alvaren)
Duranor(Modgriensofarthgonosefren) (Better known as dwarves lol)
Plus Trevin. Not sure what race she is other than “Enchantress”

Some of these people might have waifus or husbando we don’t know about. lol

Talarius I think hooks back up with his Old Flame Melisandra after coming over to the Doom side of things.

#8232

Once again Scweeb, Melisandra appears to want nothing better than Talarius Be tortured, harmed, and possibly killed, she’s a brainwashed undead among demons who was first before that betrayed by him among undead, I just don’t see how romance is supposed to happen.

Well, I’m not sure it was her brain that Hesselforthalus was washing/cleaning with his multitude of appendages, mouths, tongues, tentacles and other organs.

I remind you that all original Hentai and tentacle porn stuff comes from several thousand years ago when the Denubians had a research colony on one of the Japanese islands.

So in this case I think you can use “brain washed” and “satisfied” interchangeably.

Too much information, Tizzy >.>

Ok but if Talarius goes over to the Doom side and becomes Doomed he then is a Demon and torture is just four play. Plus who wouldn’t want to be with one of the Lord of Oaths top guys.

Also could serve up some really good love/ hate dialog with Talarius. Because he did betray her for his God who he currently is having questions about.
GameGraphix, you could try your hand at fanfic…
Not going to happen…[-x

I can write a technical document with no problems……but can’t seem to string two words together to make an interesting fiction story…..

Although always thought writing a tongue-in-cheek version of the book “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” book based on computer terms would be funny – was going to call it “Men run DOS, Women run Unix” -based on the idea that men in general can’t multi-task while women can 8-[

….thinking about it, it could be interesting to write a story from the perspective of the Tartarus AII point of view…..

….. [blush] been reading way too much of the LitRPG genre lately, with lots of the sentient AIs

Strangely, I have had trouble getting into LitRPG, despite the obvious similarities.

And my motto is: “If I have time to read, I have time to write.” So have not been reading much since I started pushing books out.

However, I did read Dungeon Born (The Divine Dungeon #1) which is a seriously weird take on LitRPG.

In that, it’s NOT litRPG, except that all the characters “think” in RPG terms, literally, they sound exactly like the people sitting around a table or with laptops playing RPG’s as their characters, but using player terminology/thinking. It has a pretty cool essence system not that dissimilar to my animus and mana.

The main character is a newly born Dungeon (who was formerly a human killed by necromancers) It’s wacky and fun.

Now, I will take being from DOS, as long as you don’t tell me I’m from Primos. That was a seriously wacked out mainframe OS. Every time you made a mistake at the command line it dropped you to a lower privilege level restricting what you could do, until finally, all you could do was type “exit” a bunch of times to go back up.

However, that was a multiuser system, so it could multitask.

Singkun, Loki and I used to use the Tartarus dream system to play RPG’s together!

It was a blast, the best game we came up with was called “Papers and Paychecks” Where you play a cubicle droid shuffling piles of paper, memos and trying to dodge wacky corporate policies, all just to collect a paycheck every 2 weeks and go home and eat Ramen noodles in front of a 13″ black and white TV.

Of course at higher levels you could acquire better TV’s and gaming consoles etc.

That is one of the books I’ve read lately – enjoyed it, but that was largely due to the fact that I created a D&D adventure based on this idea about 15 years ago – and ran my players through it…..

I think that best ones I’ve read so far are…..

Mirror Word series by Alexey Osadchuk (Book 1 Project Daily Grid)
Ascend Online by Luke Chmilenko
The Chaos Seeds Series by Aleron Kong (Book 1 The Land: Founding: A LitRPG Saga)
The Realm of Arkon Series by G. Akella (Book 1 Patch 17)

I think Ascend Online is the best one that I’ve read so far in this genre, followed closely by the Realm of Arkon series

Will check those out, but won’t be for a while. I am trying to make headway on the three books I’m working on but I keep getting sidetracked by the end of the world…but hey that will be over shortly…and then I can get back to work, I hope, unless it doesn’t stop ending…
