M)Elrose said going to the tea cart to pour himself a cup of tea
*)Elrose said going to the refreshment cart to pour himself a cup of tea
Fixed everything before this as requested.
One thing that may not be clear is that the tea cart and the “bar cart” are two different carts.
Sort of fixing this by turning the liquor tray into a serving table with the liquor.
How about then saying:
Elrose said going to the wheeled tea cart to pour himself a cup of tea.
It’s a cart that is wheeled in and out for High Tea e.g. Tea, crumpets, refreshments yes, but want people to think High Tea.
Thoughts?
Continuing on through post.

?)ghasts, ghosts and yes, dhampyrs.
*)ghosts are undead? I had the impression that they were regular spirits who had not ‘passed on’ for some reason or other. Specters maybe?
You are correct, the word she was supposed to use was ghouls not ghosts.
vampires, vampyrs (greater, lesser)
ghasts, ghouls (greater, lesser)Thanks for the catch!

M)Hilda thought to herself as she brushed through his arm,
*)Did she somehow become immaterial and literally go ‘through’ his arm?
*2)Hilda thought to herself as she brushed his arm aside
Option 2!
Thanks

Memberyou think it’s bad at 50? Try being 500,000…which in fact is something that gets brought up (again) in the immediate aftermath of the wedding party
Given brain plasticity, I am thinking if you don’t learn to shape change as a baby demon, you never will. Of course, there is an open question as to whether demons actually have brains.
Zombies don’t seem to chase demons that much….

MemberWell…that’s a very interesting question that I had not considered. He is already immortal of course.
Ruiden is an intelligent magic item. That means he is a spirit bound to a magical item along with an anima jar and mana pool.
I will have to check to see if I have posted the rules on how you make intelligent items…side note.
So in principle, his spirit could be demonized; it would be a very different sort of ritual and would require “breaking him” to free his soul.
Probably take quite a bit more research on Volund’s part.

MemberAgain, these are my notes and stuff like mythology is probably not public.
Also need to work on formatting etc.
But this gets the info out for you guys to look at and suggest. Will also have a discussion of Undead vs Unlife.
e.g. ghosts are “Undead” but not “Unlife”

MemberYes, and poor motor skills, shambling and lurching around.
Zombies, Mummies and abominations (Frankenstein’s monster-which I don’t really list here, but it would be a form of zombie)

MemberInterestingly, I was thinking about that spell when writing Exador and Ramses parts in this.
Ignoring for the moment, the dome, if you could do an abyssal switch spell, it would be a great way to end a battle with bunch of priests.
Of course, it’s a very complicated spell and impossible to do in combat, but if you had people protecting you while you did the spell.

I love the eject button idea! I literally am LMAO at the thought of doing that with the Kraken.
Uhm, no the Dark Apostle would not have taken that into account. At a guess, something like the Oubliette would overload the beacons and bring them down.
Shooting a kraken out of infinitely long rifle barrel would generate a lot of momentum. Bust the crap out of the spells and possibly do damage to everyone around the beacons.
Not sure whether or not it would alter the kraken’s trajectory causing to veer off and fall into the Nysegard Doom or even rebound down the tunnel
For safety’s sake, I think I’d aim to send the Kraken outside of the beacons.

You are kraken me up!
You do know that this would cruel and unusual punishment for the Kraken right?
What did ever do to deserve this? Ok, yes, it sunk Atlantis, drowning everyone on the continent, but other than that…

MemberWe shall need to think about this.
Where i see the most value for Zargvarst is inspiring the Orcs; what makes it’s way back to the Nimbus? Not sure.
What I am thinking though is that I can’t do justice to where this would take us in this book. It would be a kick off for a new arc, much like Rede is.

MemberGood point…I think, trying to remember who had what ball when.
Gastropre’ has definitely seen it. That was an early fix to the scenes where Gastrope’ is in Murgatory.
I do not think Tal Gor has it at the moment, but he has seen it, with Gastrope’

MemberMaking sure I follow:
We could move the recon party up a day, because they were doing “advanced recon” ahead of other recon groups due to Vlad coming down with the munchies.
That would make sense.
I’d love to spend some time in Vlad’s mind at this point, in the cell, but there just isn’t space to do that.
Immortal centuries old vampire, aide to the most powerful vampire on the planet? And now he’s back to step one?
BTW This ain’t Angel or Buffy. If you get re-turned as a vampire, and then turned again? You start over at the bottom (in terms of power); you probably have a heads up in terms of memory, skill (obviously) but those abilities you’ve gained over time are lost.
The Author Guy
MemberAh I get that. but not sure that doesn’t work to trip things up even more in terms of building tension at the Citadel.
I think one complaint was that it was too distracting from the main citadel plot as is.

MemberSweet!
You are really good at spotting this stuff. Thanks. Writing at moment, will do edits tomorrow.
