So I was wondering, if a newly summoned demons form is influenced by their “soul” and the expectations of the summoners, would it be possible to turn someone into a demon that looked perfectly human in its demon form? for instance if a human smoked some D’Weed on plane x, then had someone one plane y “summon” them with a bunch of other helpers who were told that they were merely helping with an inter dimensional transport spell (so they expect a human to show up), would they incarnate as just an ordinary human, albeit with a new body, or would they still become an abyss bound demon with a human shaped body? And would it be possible to bind them to a plane other than the abyss, like one of the outer planes or the astral plane itself?

So, theoretically, you could turn an army of normal humans into an army of weak demons-that-look-human, who wouldn’t be much more powerful than they were before, but you would have the advantage in that killing them would only send them to the abyss for re-summoning rather than to the outer planes for resurrection. Basically an immortal army.

what if the abyss is just a strange miasma of energy whose form is mandated by its inhabitants?

Could it be that wouldn’t build such a relay because it would go against the Accord? Perhaps the demons in the Abyss would notice that theres a bunch of highly refined mana coming in and attempt to tamper with the stream.

Maybe you could push the Alvar fight back a few days or something like that? Have the time skip occur prior to that fight, maybe he is temporarily grounded due to an extreme glargvhost or perhaps they need to track a MacGuffin of some kind(Maybe an ancient key designed to open the Doomalogue).

Ok, I know much of the issues you are facing revolve around travel/army gathering time, which is why the end 20% is a problem. I don’t think you’ve done it before, but maybe you could do a sort of “Time skip” where nothing interesting happens. I.e Tom spends a week training with the Obluette, Talarius training the Nysegard people, the Apostles of Doom gathering Orc and Dark Alfar support on the way to the Doomalogues (essentially a long series of meeting with some travel in between), Freehold preparing for a siege, The Nimbus doing a thorough investigation of a Nyjyr Ennead pyramid or 5, Teragdor the Apostle of Torean getting a crash course in being an Apostle, The Inferno wanders around the Abyss some more… You get the point. This would give you the necessary time for the Storm Lord’s to gather/Position their forces so that Exador could do a few very rapid Abyssal Switches and deposit the Unlife army very close to the fortress in a minute or two. Basically, you would only describe these things as having happened after the fact, you wouldn’t show them happening. Perhaps Tom could get the info from his side in a meeting or something.

I think it would be cool if whoever Tom thinks of a question or is confused by something, the Tartarus AI would respond in his head, since it never really got any lines. Maybe that would have some records of how the D’Orcing process went since it was so connected to Orcus.

If demons can speak and read universal, which mean that they can speak and read any language, then why couldn’t anyone from Tom’s party read the sign they found on a wall back in book 2 when they originally started wandering around Mt. Doom?

I feel like a lot of the scenes with Tal Gor were unnecessary, the only one that was needed was the fight with the Alfar.

I felt like there was too much perspective shifting in the beginning of the book. It seemed like we wouldn’t get to follow much of a particular plot before it would switch to another.

Is it possible that beings naturally composed of what astlanians would reft to as “antimus” and everything in the “negatively charged” part of the multiverse is made of antimatter? That would be the ultimate opposite polarization, and would cause any intersection of being/planes of opposite charge to violently explode unless protected by some magic or technological device. Demons could possibly automatically shift their polarity from neutral to whatever it is in the plane they are traveling to in order to avoid exploding on arrival.

Refleca items do what their creators want them to do/believe they do. So a refleca crystal might be able to hold a god pool/pantheon pool if it was created for that purpose. On a related note, are priests just godly warlocks?

My assumption has always been that a god pool is simply a mana pool where a god dumps all the mana they receive from their mortal worshippers. So it would be something like an oversized crystal gem or something like that.

Does that mean beta demonization has occurred?
