Sounds like handshakes are an extreme sports for Denubians–or non-Denubians attempting to be friendly for that matter.
Surgery?
You know the Doom Spa has reopened and the associated torture chamber has a fully certified (14th century Earth) Surgical Theatre.
The knives are a little rusty and slightly dull. However, the good news is that being in the Abyss, no one can die on the operating table!
Now, they may wish to, but, that’s really not the surgeon’s problem.
Ah, but could be worse, you could be trapped aboard the Inferno with its cast of crazies. That place is turning out to be surprisingly interesting.
The Library of Doom (which is still rather empty) is over there for Beta Demons only…
Good things are happening I Just got out of surgery so now I have plenty of free time to read!
I hope the afore mentioned surgery was one of the good things?
Alpha Edition (meaning missing last 20%) is now available
The Books | The Apostles of Doom Beta Book.
Please read the Alpha Reading topic/instructions.
If you have not, also read the Beta Demon FAQs
This is a bit cruder release than I normally due for the Beta’s but it’s all about getting it to you ASAP.
Monday version will be a bit cleaner from conversion process.
Epub version is zipped up so your browser will download it.
I can see Tom’s first meeting with Denubians going south like a non-magical human in the Abyss–messily.
I love month long naps.
As for handshakes, yes, you may have surmised that Denubians are rather contract oriented, and legalistic, much like Oorstemothians.
I can assure you that with Denubian this is no “simple handshake on a deal” Handshakes are quite complex codes that are recorded and legally binding, just like a signature.
