True, yet how does one make more gelatinous cubes? Are they split off the original? Is there a Mrs. Gelcube at home? :-k
Weeelll, we can do it either way. Personally, there is a Mrs. Cube in our dungeon. Let’s just say there are Pseudopods involved, and leave it to your imagination. It’ll have to be imagination, because not even Googling “Gelatinous Cube Rule 34” gives much of anything.

Here are some of the Fantasy genre books that I’ve enjoyed reading and would recommend to other people…..

The Kurtherian Gambit series by Michael Anderle, Ellen Campbell
You know, I’d say Kurtherian Gambit is more Sci-Fi, than Fantasy. Granted, to us it SEEMS like magic, but to the Kurtherians, it’s science.

And what the hell is up with Anderle? He’s been putting out a book a month for years. Does the man sleep, like, at ALL?

So, so many good stories in this genre as well.

Like David Weber’s Honor Harrington series. First book “On Basilisk Station” is free on Amazon right now.

I also recommend most of the previous recommendations.

Soooo many good books in this genre. Read many of the ones listed, and would recommend them. One that’s not listed that I really love are P.C. Hodgell’s Kencyrath series.

You can also find them at Baen Publishing

Another I like is David Weber’s War God series. The first book “Oath of Swords” is free on Amazon.

Slime Dungeon and Divine Dungeon are a LOT alike. In fact, they could nearly be in the same world.

I +1 Ascend Online, Slime Dungeon, Chaos Seeds, and Divine Dungeon.

You know, Bess told the Desperate Duo that she was hiding from Orcus after trying to steal his wand. I was hoping there was hope for her and Tom. But after reading Bk3, it’s obvious she has “interests” in her pantheon.

Zelda is a no-go. She may be bold enough, but going after the Boss takes either a supremely confident female…or a gold digger.

Tamarin may be good for a fling. But it looked like there was interest being thrown in other directions.

That makes me sad. As I’ve said before, an Evil Overlord should not be a virgin. In fact, an Evil Overlord should have Evil Groupies. Female groupies. Not the male kind Tom seems to be drawing.

Why does it matter? We’re going to buy it anyway. :d/

Please. If G. Gardner wasn’t a troll, then it was someone with so little grasp of the English language, that I can see no practical way they could understand the book enough to enjoy any part of it. #-o

Just posted my own short review. Try to pull up that star rating!

Still reading. Haven’t finished yet. But since I don’t have an actual Kindle, only the app on my Nvidia Shield K1, it’s been just fine, other than Page Flip not enabled. Don’t know what freaky thing is going on with the Android version of the Kindle App, but sometimes when I gesture-flip to the next page, the thing stops halfway. Hard to read page 234 when you still see half of 233. 😛

Not stopping me from reading as fast as I can, though. It’s really awesome so far. I’ll do a first read, then restart so I can make annotations and notes.

    And I repeat…SQUEEE!!!

    Just finished the first read.

    So.

    Very.

    Awesome.

Going to remove and re-download the book before the 2nd read to see if there’s any differences as I mark it up.

So after we get the Amazon thingy straightened out, and you take a week or two off, what’s the ETA looking like for CoA:ItW? Maybe late Summer/early Fall?

Why did I just gasp with anticipation when I read that? Giddy, that’s the feeling.

That makes sense of some things that have puzzled me.

I’ve read several new books the last few months. The previous book in the series would be page flip enabled, and the new one wouldn’t. Dang, Amazon’s been doing good things lately, seems like they’d spiff up their publishing tools.

…if they have publishing tools. Not being a writer, I’ve never investigated how Kindle books are actually made.
