I can see wizards maybe doing this, church wizards especially, but it would be difficult for them to detect low mana worlds. Maybe they could detect higher end anima in large concentrations, which should indicate a sentient population?
Christopher CopeMemberHere are my options for what happens to Talarius:
1 – He remains a loyal, if much more critical, and vocal member of the Rod
2 – He switches loyalty to Tommus
3 – He becomes a member of the El Ohim, seeing as that’s about the only method that gods can be officially taken to task.
4 – He becomes Mellisance’s personal foot rubber
5 – Due to a refusal, or inability to accept all of the Truths that’s been dumped on him, he decides to throw logic out the window and become a disciple of Tizzy. Ruiden assumes golem form and becomes a scarecrow in Tizzy’s weed garden.Christopher CopeMemberI’ll post this here since you don’t have a Cosmology section (hint, hint).
Consider, gods have portfolios, or areas of oversight, like Hera and marriage for example. Now these beings are millions of years old, and yet they still, to some extent or another, maintain interest in these areas. While we’ve seen that Tiernon has been somewhat lax in his supposed interest in justice, at least in a couple of specific cases, he does watch his knights battle every morning. That has to be several million, several hundred million fights he’s watched over the years, and he’s still interested in it? Same with Phaestus, he and Volund have been smithing for the same amount of time, yet neither have shown any divergent interests, say picking up golf, or learning how to needlepoint for a few millennia.
So how do the gods maintain this focus for so long? Phoenix cycling doesn’t reset their interests, so it must be some inherent part of their nature.

Christopher CopeMemberSo how exacting is the regeneration? Will wisdom teeth grow back in? Will circumcised men who enter the Abyss find themselves uncircumcised? Will a woman’s hymen regrow? Would be unfortunate to have that nose job come undone.
How encompassing is the transference during the Abyssal Switch spell? We know it’s not just land, as heat and air is transferred as well. Is it literally Hell on Astlan for the brief duration, meaning things like regeneration and being cut off from the Outer Planes are a part of the parcel as well?
Christopher CopeMemberHow does one go about discovering a new inhabited world? The gods are always striving to increase their devotees, so this seems like it would be a concern for them.

Christopher CopeMemberIf that show makes sense to you Tizzy, you’d love the new “Twin Peaks” show on Showtime. As for me, I’d need to swig a bottle of cough syrup laced with LSD to begin to make heads or tails of it.
