dose infection always result in conversion? i know more powerful beings can burn the infection out with mana but can a normal person fight it off sometimes?
how long dose an antimus infection take to turn someone. like if a human gets bitten by a ghoul but gets away how long before that human starts snaking on the people around him.
I have to disagree the Oorstemothians are well into a bureaucratic distopea that treats even petty violations as major crimes.
Not sure if this is the right place for this but i have this d&d game running on and off were the characters have been bounced into the Astlan multiverse. the players are not familiar with the setting so ive been having a good time with them getting in trouble due to assuming the wrong things. i have had demons comment on how the pc souls seem different since they were translated into animus rather than being born that way and so i wonder how will tizzy react to them. will he recognize them as coming from another multiverse, will he recognize them as being unwiting vessels controlled be the will of other beings, and how dose the cosmology of Astlan interact with the great wheel cosmology of D&D any way. i know the game exists on the earth worlds since Asmodeus has a copy and likes its description of him.
i was wondering about the blood wine. is it actually fermented in some way? i cant imagine its normally fermented since 1: not enough sugar to ferment. and 2: alcohol wouldn’t do much for denizens of the abyss anyway.
the worlds of the localverses were colonized at least in part from other parts of the multiverse. we know that even long after the fall of doom there were ork shamans able to contact other planes and during the height of the doompire orkish trade and travel was common both in and out of the localvers. i see no reason why the other races could not have had similar periods of expansion and travel through out history. finding other planes is a matter of searching on the astral plane or resorting to wizardry which probably has a safer method of focusing in on one. and all of this is leaving aside the fact that the gods likely transported some worshipers to every new plane they found. have to diversify that worship base after all.
its because when going to the abiss he knows both the plain and the place on that plain that he is going to. when going to the plains of man he needs some kind of link to follow to the right plain and place on that plain. its easier with the abiss because its there is only one abiss were as the plains of man is divided into a multitude of universes that you need to sort between to get anywhere.
