Sounds like handshakes are an extreme sports for Denubians–or non-Denubians attempting to be friendly for that matter.
Surgery?
You know the Doom Spa has reopened and the associated torture chamber has a fully certified (14th century Earth) Surgical Theatre.
The knives are a little rusty and slightly dull. However, the good news is that being in the Abyss, no one can die on the operating table!
Now, they may wish to, but, that’s really not the surgeon’s problem.
Ah, but could be worse, you could be trapped aboard the Inferno with its cast of crazies. That place is turning out to be surprisingly interesting.
The Library of Doom (which is still rather empty) is over there for Beta Demons only…

As for handshakes, yes, you may have surmised that Denubians are rather contract oriented, and legalistic, much like Oorstemothians.
I can assure you that with Denubian this is no “simple handshake on a deal” Handshakes are quite complex codes that are recorded and legally binding, just like a signature.
