What is the book? I’m guessing it contains mind reaving instructions
Possibly how to trigger a nervous disconnect between your emotions and the reavees? Like how to take just the knowledge? Maybe even how to rip and rend minds in later sections of the book?
It seems mind rending works off links so might it be possible to drain the knowledge into some kind of recording crystal described on this forum?
That way you can view it without the emotions? Maybe if you put their memories in the crystal it would have a tint of the relevant emotions at the relevant time? Anyway, theories on the book are welcome here.I kind of thought it was a way to drain demons of their power.
It is alluded to repeatedly that the demon princes would be concerned if they knew about it, and short of either a way to enslave them (My other theory) or drain their power I don’t see a whole lot being able to worry beings of that kind of power
