It’s a long way to heaven from Nysegard.

While the Church strongholds in Nysegard have the conventional forms, what’s in the hearts of the people living in them?

Are they more Zen? Do they care more about the ideals and personal development, than the supposed embodiments of those ideals?

I think that’s a good question.

I am contemplating a spin off called Nights of Nysegard if I ever had time.

I think the fact that they live so much closer to constant extermination by truly malevolent forces would force a different reality on them than those in high courts and churches theorizing about evil.

Much like people who sit in the halls of power contemplating war, vs those who fight the war, or those who live in lands torn by war.
