Okay, so here is were things start to get complicated.

Sentir Fallon is in charge of a localverse (universe) with archons who are in charge of planets. Tierhallon operates in multiple localverses. However, the Outer Planes are “tied” to the material plane aka localverses.

That being said, is a specific outer plane, e.g., Tierhallon, tied to a specific material plane w/ access to all other localverses or is just tied to all localverses?

This is important because of the Negative/Positive polarization deal. Namely:
– Does each outer plane have 100% animus or 100% antimus? Or is it a mix like w/ the material planes?
– Similarly, does Limbo, Purgatory, the Astral Plane, and the Abyss also have 100% animus/antimus or is it a mix?
– Are there 2 copies of the Limbo/Purgatory/Astral Plane/Abyss, each being a negative and positive copy and with only 1 is accessible depending on the being’s alignment towards postive/negative?

Basically it boils down to:
– How is Negative/Positive polarization handled in non-Material planes?

I know how it is handled in the Abyss. It has an absolute value function built in.

Do you mean that if an antimus being entered the Abyss you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between it and an animus version? Or that all antimus beings in the Abyss become animus beings and when they return to their home localverse they revert back to antimus?

Anyways, so if the outer planes are essentially neutral polarization and then they become polarized when a god resets up residence we still have to deal with the the other planes that are “unique” in the multiverse, i.e., only 1 copy exists.

And this gets us back to Orcus. If he could have transited to a plane where antimus does not consume animus (Abyss?) or where animus cannot exist (Limbo, Purgatory, Astral Plane?) then he may have been able to survive.

I chose the Astral Plane because Tom passed through it. Tizzy could have set things up so that Orcus’s animus survived in the Astral Plane. He could have siphoned some of Orcus off to create Tom and when Tom passes through it rejoins and forms Tommus. Or Tom could have simply been close enough in personality (animus pattern?) so that when he passed through the Abyss it dragged Orcus along and Lenamare merged them with his demon binding spell.

It all comes down to the nature of the multiverse and how animus/antimus is handled in various planes that could reveal how Orcus’s memories survived. If Tom ever remembers falling at Etterdam then we will know that isn’t because of Tartarus but rather because Orcus is him or is inside him.

Basically. What “we know” is that by coming to the Abyss, Melissance and her people were cured of ghoulism.

Now, if they go back to the material planes, will the ghoulism return? Not clear.

But here’s the thing, if someone from an antimus plane shows up in the abyss, they can go back to their antimus plane and be antimus again.

No different than positive people.

Presumably from the Abyss, demons could go to either antimus or animus planes, via summons/incarnation (presumably not via portal but who knows) not sure if anyone has tested it though.

Now, the thing is, there is animus and antimus. What the Unlife, however, does is “consume” animus to fuel it’s life in an oppositely charged plane.

The life draining is not so much a function of the fact that the Unlife/Undead is negatively polarized, so much as it is polarized in the opposite direction from how the body was created. In order to keep the body from falling apart, the undead/unlife needs new animus to replenish what it is destroying.

As far as the other thoughts you espouse….
