I am not sure that all the followers had links to Orcus.

This is something that rather surprised Tom in this book, I’ve sort of thought this as “Nysegard” specific.

Remember, he doesn’t want to be in the ‘god game’ and so the Nysegard thing is “extra” and getting him to reconsider (or rather Orcus to reconsider)

Does this need to be clarified or can we let it be mysterious for the moment, we still don’t understand the full details of what happened.

EM could not have followed the links to the shamans and warlocks because those links were down thanks to the dome.

If the dome only cut extra-planar links then all of the shamans and warlocks that were physically on Etterdam could still have been affected.
